BRC secures MG approval
St Albans body repair specialist, Brian Robson Coachworks (BRC), is proud to announce that it has become an Approved repairer for MG, having exceeded all of the manufacturer’s strict standards.
With collision repair centres in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City, the addition of MG means that Brian Robson Coachworks now holds Approved body repairer status with 19 of the UK’s major car brands.
Commenting on the company’s approval by MG, BRC’s Managing Director, Martin Robson, said:
“We are delighted to add MG to our list of manufacturer approvals. This status is further testament to the skills of our highly skilled technicians and assessors and their continual training. Our latest manufacturer approval enables BRC to offer an even wider breadth of collision repair expertise to customers.”
Overarching this achievement, for over 12 years, BRC has been an accredited by the British Standards Institution (BSI) to hold the Kitemark™ for Vehicle Damage Repair (Code BS10125). This prestigious certification demonstrates that the St Albans body repair business has been tested independently and audited to ensure it both meets and exceeds the appropriate standards of quality and safety.
The BSI Kitemark™ for Vehicle Damage Repair is independently assessed using unannounced inspections. The scheme has been adopted by the most forward thinking body shops and collision repair centres, which are committed to carrying out work to the highest standards. All major automotive manufacturers endorse it and it’s recognised by the majority of insurance companies, a number of which will only refer customers to accredited collision repair specialists, such as St Albans and Welwyn based collision repair centre, BRC.
Accreditation to the BS10125 standard is voluntary but Brian Robson Coachworks decided to conform to this specification to highlight the seriousness with which the St Albans body repair business takes its responsibilities towards customer safety.
